94-tý ročník udeľovania Oscarov je úspešne za nami. Ako každý rok, tak aj tento bol plný zábavy, radosti, napätia, lásky a prekvapení. Niektoré ocenenia nás prekvapili viac, iné menej, no najväčšie prekvapenie z celého večera priniesol jednoznačne Will Smith, po jeho potýčke s Chrisom Rockom, ktorého udrel potom, ako predniesol vtip na účet Willovej ženy Jady Pinkett Smith.

Ďalším milým prekvapením a určite momentom, ktorý posunie večer Oscarov vpred je Ariana DeBose, ktorá sa do histórie zapísala ako prvá Afro Latinská žena, ktorá vyhrala alebo Troy Kotsur, ktorý získal ocenenia ako prvý nepočujúci za herectvo.
Večer otvorila speváčka Beyoncé s pesničkou Be Alive z filmu King Richard, ktoré sa do Dolby Theatre prenášalo z tenisových kurtov v Comptone. Celým večerom nás previedli moderátorky, komičky Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes a Regina Hall.
